Dr Elisabeth Brazier – Female - MB BS (Lond 1990) DCH DRCOG MRCGP DFFP

I qualified from the Royal Free Hospital in 1990 and have been a Partner at Bennetts End Surgery since 1996. I work at the surgery on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I am the Practice Lead for Dementia and Palliative Care, and also have an interest in women’s health and family planning, which includes the fitting of subdermal contraceptive implants and coils. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, theatre, and the arts.

Dr Victoria Crane – Female - BM (Soton 1993)

Dr Fiona Osuagwu – Female - MBBS (Nig. 1990) DFSRH DCH MRCGP FRCOG PGC. Med.ed

Partner at Bennetts End Surgery having joined the team in 2006. Prior to working at Bennetts End, she trained first in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and is a Fellow of the Royal College. She provides counselling and fitting of contraceptive implants and coils, and consults in other aspects of women’s health. She also has a special interest in minor ops. Dr Osuagwu enjoys teaching, and is a GP Appraiser, Tier 3 GP Trainer, and a Tutor for Imperial and Cambridge medical schools. She is the Educational Lead for Delta PCN.

Dr Meelan Trivedy – Male - MB BS (Lond 2001) BSc MRCGP PGC Med Ed

I completed my medical degree at University College London in 2001. I have been working as a GP Partner at Bennetts End Surgery since 2009. I am a GP Trainer and support the education of medical students, GP trainees and allied health professionals. I have undertaken additional learning and experience with joint injections and dermoscopy.

Dr Helen Condell – Female - MB BS (Lond 1997) DRCOG DFFP DCH MRCGP

Dr Roshni Patel – Female - MB BS (Lond 2000) DCH DFFP MRCGP

I qualified as a doctor from The Royal Free Hospital, London, in 2000 and as a GP in 2003. I joined the surgery in 2015. I work at the surgery on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I look after our local care home and am COPD Lead for the Practice. I am married and have 2 teenage children as well as a dog that keep me busy. I enjoy keeping fit ,cooking, travelling and gardening.

Dr Rajiv Mandalia – Male - MUDr (Prague 2011) DRCOG

Dr Mandalia joined Bennetts End Surgery after qualifying as a GP in 2016.

In 2017 I joined Bennetts End Surgery as a part time GP Registrar and I completed my training in 2019. I joined as a Partner in March 2023 after working as a salaried GP in North London for 3 years. I work Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Bennetts End, and also do some GP locum and extended hours in North London. I am married with 2 children, which keeps me busy and when I have spare time I enjoy exercising, gardening and baking sourdough bread.

Dr Vishal Varsani - Male - MB BS (UCL 2018) BSc MRCGP (2023)

I joined Bennetts End Surgery in 2020 as a GP Registrar and completed my GP training in 2023. I work here on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Prior to working at Bennetts End, I have worked in a wide range of different hospital departments including Paediatrics, Urology, Cardiology, Dermatology and Geriatrics to name a few. Much of this has been at Watford General Hospital and I have worked with many of the local consultants of these specialties. Outside of working as a GP, I enjoy watching cricket and my beloved football club, Arsenal, as well as playing golf.

After gaining my degree at Hertfordshire University, I joined Bennetts End Surgery and I have now been here for 8 years. I work on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I consider myself very lucky because I have a job I love! I am a mother to 4 grown up sons and now have wonderful grandchildren that keep me busy when I'm not at work.

Additional Roles

To meet the increasing demand on General Practice, we have a team of additional roles to support the care we provide and widen the range of services available to you at Bennetts End Surgery.

Prasant Manandhar - Clinical Pharmacist - B Pharm, MSc. Pharmacotherapy, PGDip.

Clinical Pharmacist at Bennetts End Surgery since 2017 with a special interest in asthma, COPD & diabetes. My other roles include: ARRS Education Lead for Delta PCN, training lead for Clinical Pharmacists at DHPL and visiting lecturer at Hertfordshire University. My hobbies include meditation, jungle walks, yoga and getting together with my family and friends.

Shivali Vyas - Clinical Pharmacist

Shivali specialises in cardiovascular health. Shivali is currently on maternity leave.

Training Practice

Bennetts End Surgery is a training practice and participates in the further training of doctors who, already experienced in hospital medicine, wish to make their career in general practice. These doctors are called GP Registrars.

Additionally, with patient consent, we facilitate the training of medical students, nurses, managers, administrative staff and work-experience students.

Dr Amutharasan is currently undertaking his final year of GP training.
